A nanny beheaded a four year-old girl in Moscow, Russia.
Gulchekhra Bobokulova from Uzbekistan has admitted to the crime. She set the family apartment on fire and is suspected of handling explosives, such as inflammable liquids. She has been arrested and appeared in Court where she confessed that it was an order from her God. She said she did this monstrous act avenge Muslims who were killed in Syrian airstrikes.
Several commuters were shocked and stunned to see a woman carrying a severed head of a child and yelling and roaming the Moscow metro station.
The child has been identified as Anastasia (Nastya) Meshcheryakova who was found murdered in her cot in her night dress. It is believed that the little girl was learning impaired. Upon hearing the news, the child's mother collapsed and was taken to the hospital.
Gulchekhra Bobokulova had been working for a Russian family as a nanny for more than three years but didn't have a legal license to work. According to the girl’s family, they had no problem with the nanny and considered her as family. It is believed that Bobokulova has suffered from schizophrenia for more than 10 years. This was confirmed by her father and he also said that she left Uzbekistan two weeks before the start of her treatment.
It is also believed that two men linked to an International extremist group were found to be among her contacts.
The media, the people, and the government have condemned this barbaric act and have named her “Bloody Nanny”.
Bobokulova will face a sentence of up to 20 years if she is found mentally fit. She will remain under arrest for two months before sentencing.
