Delta Files with the US Government to fly to Havana

Delta is one of the most admired and successful airlines in the US which provides travelling services to almost 180 million people every year. The company operates in more than 55 countries in 6 continents. The present headquarters of the company is in Atlanta, Georgia. The estimated number of employees within the company is 80,000 that providing services in different offices.

The agreement of Delta Airlines with the United States

Delta Airlines is one of the US commercial companies that has filed an application with the Government of the United States to provide direct and daily services to Havana, Cuba from a number of American cities in a variety of states. If the routes are awarded, Delta will still have to apply to the Cuban government for permission to operate in Cuba. US tourists will still not be allowed to visit Cuba unless they qualify in a category that does have permission to visit.

Undoubtedly Delta Airlines will earn increased revenues from this niche. In addition to this, passenger will have another alternative to charter flights which are the only flights presently allowed into Cuba.

The company has filed the agreement from the Government of the United States to offer 20 flights from Havana and Cuban cities. Once the US government approves the request by the Delta Airline Company, it will not only be beneficial for the passengers, but also for the Company.
